First Choice Business Brokers (FCBB) was founded in 1994 by Jeff and Linda Nyman, who still own and guide the company today. The network now includes roughly 85 independent owner-operators and more than 300 agents across North America, all sharing one vetted pool of buyers. Since 1994 the network has facilitated around $15 billion in transactions. You work with a local advisor and get the reach of the full network behind you.
Our process follows three goals. First, valuation: a confidential look at what your business is actually worth. Second, preparation: getting your financials and documentation buyer-ready. Third, exit: a confidential, competitive sale to the right buyer.
For the right businesses we also run a Strategic Buyer Search: proactive, confidential outreach to the buyers most likely to value your company, including strategic acquirers, private equity, and family offices. It brings the rigor normally reserved for deals over $20 million to Main Street.
When we share an Estimate of Value and a Suggested Asking Price, they are grounded in market data, not in what sounds good in a pitch. Neither of us gets paid until your business actually sells, so our incentive is the same as yours.
