    Spencer Black brings institutional-grade financial analysis to First Choice Business Brokers (FCBB), working directly with Mike Lee across Utah. His background is in real estate investment analysis, where the work is unforgiving: the numbers either hold up under scrutiny or the deal falls apart. That discipline is exactly what owners want on their side when they are deciding what their life's work is worth.


    As an investment analyst intern at Rich Day Group, Spencer ran investment analysis and due diligence on a pipeline of more than 20 deals, built the pro forma models behind them, and supported a $36M industrial refinance. At Rockworth Companies he underwrote over $100M in multifamily and mixed-use projects, built the IRR and discounted cash flow models, pulled rent comparables through CoStar, and worked through zoning and entitlement reviews. He is completing a BS in Finance at the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business, graduating in December 2026 with a 3.6 GPA, and his toolkit runs deep on advanced Excel financial modeling, discounted cash flow, and sensitivity analysis.


    At First Choice Business Brokers, Spencer supports deal origination and business development. He identifies owners who may be ready to explore a sale, leads outreach, and sets confidential consultations. He builds the Market Readiness and Value Assessment work and the Value Assessments that show an owner where they stand, and he assists with seller onboarding once an engagement begins. He is on the path to becoming a business advisor, pairing analytical horsepower with the hustle to put it to work.


    Outside the office, Spencer skis, runs, golfs, boats, and spends as much time as he can with family and friends.
